woman said to the serpent, the fruit trees of the garden we may eat,
The woman said to the serpent, \
3 only fruit of the tree midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat, nor touch it, lest ye die.
but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' \

6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, pleasant to the eyes, and is to be desired to make one wise, she took some and ate it. Gave her husband, and her husband eat.

13 The LORD God said to the woman, what happens is this you? The woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I ate.
Then the LORD God said to the woman, \
14 The LORD God said to the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all the livestock beast. You will walk with the belly, eat dust for life.
So the LORD God said to the serpent, \the days of your life.

So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.
24 So he drove out. Also in the east of the Garden of Eden cherubim and the erection of a flaming sword turning on all sides, to guard the tree of life.
After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
